Do you like to read out loud?   Perhaps you have leadership skills.  Are you a creative type?  Do you enjoy working with kids? Whatever your skills, there is someplace in the Church where you can share them with others.  Please check out the list below.

  • Audio & Video (A/V) team

    The A/V team is responsible for the presentation of the weekly service on the overhead TV screens in the Sanctuary and setting up audio and YouTube Livestreaming. 

  • scripture reading

    Do you enjoy reading aloud? Read bible passages to the congregation in-person during Sunday morning worship, or share your voice from home by pre-recording readings with Pastor Jennifer on Zoom.

  • Surrey Urban Mission Society (SUMS)

    SUMS is a community centre for Surrey residents. It is a place where people of all ages and circumstances are welcome and where hope and opportunities exist. If you are looking for a chance to make a difference in our diverse city, we are looking for ways to expand our partnership with www.surreyurbanmission.org

  • Surrey Food Bank

    The fourth Sunday of every month TLC receives food donations, distributed to our neighbours in need, through www.surreyfoodbank.org

  • Exploring Our Neighbours' Faith

    In today's religious landscape, building bridges of understanding with our Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist and Jewish neighbours is essential. Listen to a workshop that took place at First Lutheran in Vancouver in 2015 called Our Muslim Neighbour.

  • north delta refugee project

    TLC Community folks have partnered with area churches to reach out to new refugee families. We are befriending government sponsored refugee families by providing rides for cancer treatments, English tutoring and friendship. If you'd like to get involved contact Andrea Reyes at 604-930-2960.     Deltassist Family and Community Services Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the well being of the people of Delta.
