Christmas Cantata

Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 10:30 am

Trinity Lutheran Church and COS presents “Night of the Father’s Love” a Christmas mosaic that combines fragments of the familiar with a unique perspective in word and music. This Cantata skillfully guides the listener through the Christmas story, as though hearing it again for the first time, in an intriguing array of musical styles including energetic Celtic, simple folk melody, and the lush imagery of a ballad. We hope you can join us.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at 5:00 pm

All are welcome to enjoy this special Christmas Eve Service

In winter’s deepest night, we welcome the light of the Christ child. Isaiah declares that the light of the long-promised king will illumine the world and bring endless peace and justice. Filled with the light that shines in our lives, we go forth to share the light of Christ with the whole world.

Lessons & Carols

Sunday, December 29, 2024 at 10:30 am

Christ is born. God has come. We are not alone. Let us celebrate that good news. Let us dwell with God! Today’s service is a little different from our normal flow on this unique and special day. We will sing, we will pray, we will listen, and we will write.

Know that however you feel today, whatever joy or weariness you bring into this space, God welcomes all of it, and we do too. We’re so glad you’re here.

Welcome to Trinity Lutheran Church

Trinity Lutheran Church is a Christian community deeply rooted in the Delta community. It was founded by forward-thinking Norwegian fisherman families over 100 years ago, who also established the first designated green space for the Delta community, just up the hill from the original church. Current members recall clearing the forest to access what is now Annieville Park, which offers play space for young children, a playground, a waterpark, tennis courts, and baseball fields for Annieville school.

We worship in the space constructed by those immigrant families. Today at TLC, you will hear music and preaching that feeds your soul, bringing ancient words to life in your family, work ,and community. Here, you will be loved and accepted by people who’ve weathered many storms over the years. Come and discover a place for you!

Where We Gather

We gather on the traditional and ancestral territory of the Tsawwassen and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) First Nations. We live in partnership; seeking reconciliation between settler and indigenous communities, healing of intergenerational trauma, and walking together in new ways.
