  • Jennifer Wilson, Pastor

    Raised in Montana and Minnesota, Pastor Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Luther Seminary in St.Paul, MN and studied abroad at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Hong Kong to complete her MDiv. She served in campus ministry at the University of Michigan and Michigan State. Pastor Jennifer has experienced God’s heart for social justice through Habitat for Humanity, as well as service mission trips to Honduras and Northern Ireland. Called to mission development the last 20 years, Pastor Jennifer was called to lead Trinity Lutheran Church in May 2013. In 2007, Pastor Jennifer responded to the most rewarding call of her life: to become a mother by adopting her daughter. As a family, they continue to study Mandarin. Pastor Jennifer and her daughter are delighted for a chance to grow with the TLC community, engage a multi-cultural, interfaith community in the Vancouver area, and explore all the beauty that God’s creation affords.

  • Gerry Parsons, Choir Director

    Born and raised in Nova Scotia, but of 100% Newfoundland out-port stock, Gerry thinks the world is his kitchen party. His musical experience runs the gamut from formal training on piano to enthusiastic campfire guitar renditions of any song you can hum to, & years of singing in classical and jazz choirs. He combines all of this with a passion for praising God through song and brings it all to bear conducting the Trinity Lutheran Church choir with an ever-growing repertoire of traditional & contemporary choral works. Along with his cohort Jeff on piano and keyboard, he leads Sunday service music with contemporary songs and modern adaptations of well-known hymns. Some of Gerry's happiest moments are when new people join him in making music. Please drop him a line if you'd like to come on out to the kitchen.
