Our neighbour's beliefs are worthy of respect, but we have difficulty respecting what we do not understand. During Lent, we will listen to other religious groups tell their own story and together we will ask: If we believe that Lutheran understanding of God is the most faithful, how do we deal with different faith traditions? Are they equally faithful, just different? Are they misguided but essentially okay? Are they flat-out wrong? Do we agree with those who say all religious traditions are equally valid understandings of the universal God, or do we agree with those who insist that Christianity is the only way to approach God?
